Experience
I have many relatable experiences that I feel qualify me to engage and encourage clients. I have tutored a young student in French who had learning challenges making sure that the material was suitable to his needs and that the environment catered to the student's particular diagnosis. I was also an occasional teacher with the Waterloo Catholic District School Board for 5 years, where I got to work with students of all ages and abilities. My current employment is a Library assistant where I connect people to relevant information and help them strengthen their research and writing skills. I am passionate about assisting individuals in reaching their full potential. I am particularly interested in helping students who have just entered the post-secondary education as I feel often times high school has not prepared them for the quality of work that is demanded in a university or college setting. Mastering writing and researching early on in a post-secondary environment will ensure success and I am looking to enable these individuals through high quality tutoring.
